It's me, hi! I'm the problem it's me

Hi friends! Welcome to my website and my personal blog! I've always enjoyed writing for pleasure and let's be honest, some things are not meant to be Facebook posts. I wanted my own space to share some deeper thoughts and expand on my experiences in hopes that we can all relate to each other. This life is sweet and beautiful, but also fucking hard. I think we can all make it a little more bearable if we share our stories together and find that we all are more alike than we know.

So a little about me- oh boy, where to start! I'm 36 years young, I'm a piesces, I'm a nurse, lifelong horse girl, animal owner and lover, born and raised in Maryland and living in the country, which I love. I love traveleing when I do it, but I need to get back out there and start taking more trips. I'm a huge Swiftie, but love all types of music. I've never been married and don't have kids, and that's more than OK with me, I know I'm exactly where I need to be. I have one dog and five cats- yes it's a lot but it keeps life interesting and I love my animals so much. I also basically run a feral cat rescue from my backyard...more on that on my Instagram page and another blog post! I also owned a horse for a long time too, until he passed away, and I hope to have another some day but they are a money suck for sure! I enjoy spending quality time with my friends and family, I love a good winery or brewery, and since I'm more of an introvert, I love my quiet time...it's how I recharge and get to know myself better.

I'm gonna talk about all kinds of things on here, well write, but you can catch me talking on my mini-casts (micro podcast featuring just me and my thoughts for 5 min or less) called A Couple Things...

I hope you enjoy this site and blog- my goal is to take care of my little corner of the world and leave the world a little better than I found it. My mom used to tell me when I was little to clean up after myself and leave the house or room a little better than I found it. While she was talking about my physical space, I think it's a good metaphor for life. Leave the world a little better than you found it.

Stay tuned for more!

Bridget

Weekend Recharge

Hello friends, I'm sitting here on a Sunday afternoon wishing I had something more poignant to tell you. But here I am today, feeling kind of blah to be honest. I worked at my nurse job this morning
